The Methodist Recorder welcomes submissions on all manner of subjects, although there is naturally only a limited space available and many features are planned well in advance.
If you are interested in writing an article or have an idea for a suitable series, you should contact the editor in writing first of all. Please send a brief synopsis if possible. It is also suggested that you study the style and content of the paper as much as possible beforehand. Any payment is always at the editor's discretion.

Here are some areas where fresh writing or information is welcome:
- Any worldwide reports of Christian issues, particularly Methodist. It is most helpful if photographs can also be provided.
- Made members, brief reports of local events, obituaries and "noticeboard" items are always desirable, although please note that in general there is no payment for these.
- Ideas for more general features are also welcomed. Please do not expect an immediate reply the editorial staff are always very busy!
